Kids love building hideaways and nooks in the house, so why not transfer that love outside, without the need to build an expensive cubby house?
Don’t make it too easy though – encourage your little ones to use their imagination on just how they want their fort to look in the garden.
All you need is some sturdy rope to tie tightly between two trees or some branches of trees, and a big old sheet or blanket to throw over. Pin out the corners, and then lay down a picnic rug and some cushions and hey presto – a garden hang for the kids these holidays!
